    Cruise Destinations & Ports

Alanya is a beach resort city and a component district of Antalya Province on the southern coast of Türkiye.

Its strategic position on a small peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea and just below the Taurus Mountains has endowed Alanya with its historical significance: the city was a stronghold for many Mediterranean-based empires, including the RomanByzantine, and Ottoman Empires

The Mediterranean climate, natural attractions, and historical heritage make this city a popular destination. Every year, Alanya hosts warm-weather sporting events and cultural festivals.

The variety of places to eat in Alanya is astounding from luxury restaurants and simple traditional Turkish diners, to pavement cafés and beach bars.

    Alanya Cruise Port

Alanya Cruise Port sits in a picturesque harbor on the Turkish Riviera, 125 km from Antalya Airport, an international airport, and 42 kilometers from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport. The port is overlooked by Alanya's spectacular medieval castle built atop a rocky peninsula that extends into the Mediterranean Sea. With 300 days of sunshine a year and an average sea temperature of 22°C, Alanya's historical and thriving resort is an exciting cruise destination.

This cruise port is also the gateway to a landscape of long sandy beaches, idyllic coves, canyons, rivers and caves, and the rich culture, archaeology, and hospitality of Türkiye's Mediterranean region. Lying on routes connecting the ports of Greece, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and Cyprus, this purpose-built terminal serves only cruise ships and the Kyrenia-Alanya fast ferries.

The commercial center of Alanya, which hosts the post office, banks, and many currency exchanges, is a less than 10-minute walk from Alanya Cruise Port. The bazaar, near the central bus station, is at an equal distance from the port and is open every day.

The vibrant area around the harbor hosts many bars, cafés, and nightclubs, and numerous free cultural events are held there throughout the year.
