    Cruise Destinations & Ports

The history of the modernization of Türkiye began in Samsun. The founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, departed from İstanbul and arrived at Samsun on the SS Bandırma, an Ottoman steamer, starting the Turkish War of Independence on May 19, 1919. For this reason, Samsun holds a special place in the hearts of the Turkish people.

Samsun is also renowned for its beautiful nature. The city’s Atakum Beach is the longest beach on Türkiye’s Black Sea coast. Samsun’s lively bars and excellent restaurants await all visitors.

    Port Samsun

Samsun Port is the largest port in Türkiye’s Black Sea region offering access to a significant hinterland. It is the only Black Sea port with a railway link. From here, you can visit the Black Sea’s green coastline.
